AI translation runs through the Lingomize licence proxy, which holds the AI key. Paste the\nkey from your welcome email under Lingomize \u2192 Settings. While the subscription is live the\nsite serves every language; let it lapse and the site goes back to its own language until\nit is renewed. Your translations are never deleted \u2014 they stay in your database and come\nback the moment the licence does. A site holding more original words than its plan covers\nkeeps every translation it has, but gets no new ones until it is upgraded or trimmed.<\/p>\n\n

The plugin contacts one address, only once a licence key is set. That service uses one model\nprovider behind it; both are described below. Nothing else leaves your server \u2014 the switcher's flags ship with\nthe plugin, and no image, script or stylesheet is loaded from anywhere but your own site.<\/p>\n\n

Do I need a licence key?<\/h3><\/dt>\nFor AI translation, yes \u2014 the free plan is enough to try it on a real page. Everything\nelse (routing, hreflang<\/code>, the switcher, the editor, manual translation, import and\nexport) works without one.<\/p><\/dd>\nWhat happens if I deactivate it?<\/h3><\/dt>\nYour pages go back to their original language. Stored translations stay in the database.<\/p><\/dd>\n
I already use WPML or Polylang. Do I have to redo the work?<\/h3><\/dt>\nNo. Import \/ Export reads what the other plugin still serves on this site and writes it\ninto Lingomize's own table, page by page. Nothing is sent anywhere to do it.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
